If our office decides to take on your property tax case, we will ask you to sign a contract that allows our company to represent you in front of the Shelby County Tax Assessor, the Shelby County Board of Equalization, and/or the State Board of Equalization. You are then a client of Mallory Property Tax Advisors, and we will advocate for you in getting your property taxes lowered. No payment for our services is required until a letter is issued from the Shelby County Tax Assessor's Office, or Board of Equalization, stating the lowered value.
Our office charges 50% of the first year savings. This is a one-time fee, not charged for subsequent years where the savings is still realized. For example, if we are able to get your yearly property taxes reduced by $500, our office will collect a one-time $250 fee from you.
If we are unable to get your property taxes lowered, you will owe us nothing.
